You simply register your own domain name, which can be done for less than $19, show us where we can get a bulletin and we will build you a website at no charge with no monthly maintenance costs. This is a FREE service currently only offered to Parishes in the Diocese of Providence Rhode Island that do not have a website to ensure that every parish has a website.

Three essential things for a Parish's ONLINE Presence

DIOCESAN LISTING

Ensure your parish information listed on your diocese’s official website is correct. This boosts credibility and makes it easy for people in your diocese to find your parish and connect with its services.

MASSTIMES.ORG

Make sure you have correct information for your parish listed on Masstimes.org, a global directory where people can quickly find Mass times and locations. This ensures travelers and locals alike can easily discover your parish for worship.

GOOGLE BUSINESS PROFILE

A free tool from Google that lets you manage how your parish appears on Google Search and Maps. It helps people find your parish, contact you easily, and see important updates like Mass times.

Three essential things for a professional online presence

PROFESSIONAL EMAIL

A custom email address (e.g., info@yourparish.org) that matches your parish’s domain name. It helps build trust and makes communication more professional and organized.

CUSTOM WEBSITE DOMAIN

Your parish’s unique web address (e.g., www.yourparish.org). It gives your church a permanent online home where visitors can learn more about your services, events, and mission.

SOCIAL MEDIA

Engage with parishioners and the wider community through platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and X. Social media helps share updates, events, and faith-building content in a more personal and interactive way.

Update Diocesan Listing

You might need a parish bulletin.

Go to your Diocesan Webpage. If you are in RI go to (https://dioceseofprovidence.org/parishfinder)
Search for your Parish listing.
Verify is the information for your parish is accurate
If it is accurate. Say a prayer and give thanks to God!
If it is not accurate contact the admin of the Diocesan Website and give them the accurate information. In RI the Diocese of Providence asks that you. "*Please email any updates for the parish listings below to directory@dioceseofprovidence.org. Thank you!" (Quoted from Diocesan Webpage)

Update Masstimes.org

You might need a parish bulletin.

Go to https://masstimes.org/
Search for your home parish.
Verify the information posted is accurate.
If it is accurate. Say a prayer and give thanks to God!
If it is not accurate click the "Update This Parish's Data" link in the Parish listing and follow the instructions. Ideally if you are an official representative of the parish or can get one to regularly update it. That would be great.

Update Google Business Profile Listing

You might need a parish bulletin.

Go to https://www.google.com.
Search for your Parish by name, city and state
Find the profile listing and check to make sure the information is accurate. If you cannot find it you can see about adding it to Google Maps.
If it is accurate. Say a prayer and give thanks to God!
If it is not accurate click you may be able to click the "Suggest an Edit" link, the "Update this place" link in the about section, or you can suggest to the official parish representative to click the "Own this business?" or "Claim this Business" links.
As a bonus, be sure to leave a review for your parish!

Getting a Parish Website

For parishes that do not have a parish website and are in need of one there are a few options.

Go to a domain name provider like https://www.namecheap.com/ and search for a domain name that would fit your parish like "yourparishyourcity.org."
Hire an agency or freelancer that builds websites (Check out our listing of agencies and freelancers.)
Build your own website hosted on any of the various web hosting platforms (Check out our listing of website builders)
